In the west of the Yucatán peninsula stretches the Riviera Maya. It is a coastal strip almost 100 kilometers long, between the famous seaside resorts of Cancún and Tulum. The beaches are snow-white and the warm Caribbean sea is turquoise blue. This is where the many mid-range and luxury resorts are located, mostly outside larger towns on Yucatán’s most beautiful beaches. Except in smaller towns like Puerto Morelos, Puerto Aventuras and Akumal, there are only a few restaurants, which is why you spend most of your time here in the hotel and on the beach (all-inclusive).
Remote ruins free from crowds, sea and cenote snorkelling adventures as well as time to just enjoy the beach.
